Late February Newsletter
Saturday 21st February 2026
Neil writes,
Folks,
Early February had two wonderful events, one focused on Mission and one focused on Community. We had our fantastic first “Is there more” meetings on the 8th of February. Did you count the number of national foods on offer? We had lots of guests at lunch and at the meeting, PTL. Let’s keep praying and inviting.
We had a stupendous time at our All-Together Lords Day on 14th February – a great family time. Keep giving us feedback – we will do this again but want to make it even better! Contact andre@antioch.org.uk.
We are also trying a new Newsletter format – at my request – bear with us, but hopefully it’s more attractive, easier to use and pass on! Keep feeding back to you know who!

Lunch option before each meeting:
This is available if you feel like it would be helpful for the people you are inviting to meet a few people in a home setting before coming to the meeting. You are also welcome if you just want to hang out with others from Antioch, even if you don't have any guests to bring! This Sunday, it’s at Bob Bell’s (marvellous!) Please reply to the WhatsApp messages if you can.
Welcome time at the start:
We will begin with some time to welcome people and have fellowship, normally over a cuppa and some homemade bakes at the back of the church.
Let's all be there by 3:45 to welcome our guests warmly!
Children's programmes:
These will be running as usual, with added capacity for any guests who may join. If you have any questions, please reach out to Lizzie Potter.
Intercession:
As part of our prayers, we are proposing to fast together on Wednesdays before each meeting going forward (4th March, 18th March), and we will have a 15-minute intercession time on Zoom on those days. Details of the Zoom call will be sent out via cluster WhatsApp groups.
New WhatsApp Group for Announcements:
We have created a new WhatsApp group, which we will invite new people to join so that we can send out announcements and invitations. Given how public it will be, we have set it up to protect the privacy of members - i.e. others in the group won't be able to see your number. Please use this link if you wish to join this
group:
https://chat.whatsapp.com/LHTGWdJH7cdCDT3HhimTIn
Communication going forward:
We will mostly use our cluster WhatsApp groups to send internal communication about this series going forward. We will use the new public WhatsApp group to send general announcements and invitations.
Please let us know if WhatsApp doesn't work well for you, and we can make sure you get the information in an alternative way.
Please reach out to any of us if you have any questions.

Sunday 8th March, 3.45 pm "Is There More" Meeting, Acton Baptist Church.
We continue our time of "reaching out" with our third "Is There More" meeting.
More details and requests will be given closer to the time.
There will be two more in March!
Saturday 14th March - Lord's Day in Homes
Daniele and Larissa are leading the charge on this. Please look out for messages - if you can host, or would be able to join as a guest, that would be wonderful!

ADVANCE NOTICE: Antioch Day – 11th April 2026 – London School of Theology, 10am to 8pm.
We plan another day together with a focus on our being "Committed to the Unity of the Body of Christ" and what it means from history, in our respective churches and for us as the Antioch Community.
We plan to have a children & youth programme as we did last year with help from Kairos.
We also plan to have a Seder meal together.
We will be asking for signups through Church Suite next week.
Visitation 15th-19th April
We have some wonderful people from other Sword of the Spirit communities visiting us in London. We are beginning to plan interviews. Please let andre@antioch.org.uk know if you're interested in being interviewed, and please be flexible if asked!
European Zone Football Tournament 1st – 3rd May 2026
London is the host this year (yeh! Football is Coming Home!), and the Tournament Team are on the case, finding berths and venues. Please fill out the hospitality survey and be incredibly generous.
https://forms.gle/29jdULVhDtL12R6u5
This half year does look very busy and perhaps daunting (at least for me!), but we serve the Lord Jesus and will gain so much more than we give out in hosting and hospitality.
“He who supplies seed to the Sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which, through us, will produce thanksgiving to God.” (2 Cor 9:10-11)

conversion and vital discipleship.
- For YPO, for encouragement and success in reaching new friends at their events
going forward!
- For our neighbours, colleagues, friends and family. Lord, give us divine
opportunities and the courage to speak!
Thank you for your prayers for Koinonia!
The Koinonia Team is currently working away at the Kairos Weekend retreat near Karkow, Poland.
After having to wait over 3hrs at Polish border control and losing our slot for our hired car, we eventually made it to the venue in one piece!
It is incredibly inspiring to work with the young people from all over Europe, and listening to the ways in which God has revealed Himself in their lives.
We pinch ourselves daily, aware of how blessed we are to be working so closely with the Lord.
