​After the meeting, the Yates household will host our farewell send-off of JP, full of honourings, food and drinks from 6pm at 14 Rosemont Road. We are all invited to express our gratitude to God for all he has done for us through JP.
Our dear brother, who has given his heart to serving our community over the last 11 years will be setting off for a new chapter back in Lebanon.

Hopefully, we will subsequently able to screen the World Cup Final for those interested (from 8pm)!

Sunday 19th July – "Is There More to Christianity"? Community Meeting – 3:45pm at Acton Baptist Church

JP will deliver his testimony on his 11 years in London, and how he has grown in Christian discipleship through service and listening to the Lord in the midst of community life.​

Fri 17th July (Tonight!) - Jaila's Bon Voyage Celebration at the Everington's (from 7pm)

Koinonia's amazing mission leader Jaila will sadly be setting sails for Belfast next academic year. We will have a celebration to thank her for all of her fantastic work and being a wonderful part of our community life. Please message any of the Koinonia staff if you would like to join :).

Sat 25th July – Antioch Picnic (TBA)
The details for the proposed picnic this year are still to be refined, but let's pray that we have a wonderful time of sharing, fellowship and celebration of our life together with Christ!

Prayers for Our World

​

- Pray for our brothers and sisters in Aleppo. The economic situation continues to be really bad. Pray for safety, provision, and opportunities for the gospel.

- Pray for the brothers and sisters in the wider Middle East, in Lebanon, Haifa and in Kuwait, for peace and protection from harm.

 - Pray for the brothers and sisters displaced from and under persecution in Nicaragua, for mercy, provision and freedom for the gospel.

- Pray for our King and Government, and that wise decisions are made and for stable leadership in these disturbing times. Pray that plans for laws for Assisted Suicide and banning "Conversion Therapy" will fail and that Parliament will focus time on what is righteous and for the common good.

Prayers for Consolation and Healing

- For Ralph and Mary.

- For Maddy and Ian Bird. Give thanks that Maddy's headaches are easing and for continuing strength and wellbeing.
 

- For Arthur's mum, Claire, for her Parkinson's, which causes her to fall regularly, for wisdom for the family as they care for her well.

- For Rebecca Delargy, that God heals her and brings grace for all her love and service to us.

- For Jean Everington (John's mum) and for her care, that her life in her flat be peaceful. Above all, please pray for wisdom and strength for John and Deborah as they help look after Jean in this new phase of life.​​

- For Mercy Potter and the Feldbrugge family with the sudden death of her sister Eva, that God will pour out his grace and presence.

- For Stevie McGill, that God continues to heal him. He is making miraculous progress. Pray for continued grace for Elaine and the family as they care for Stevie.
 

 - For Holy Spirit energy for Ken Noecker and Des Dick in their continued service in Christ and for complete healing.

 - ​ For Alejandro Espinoza's mother. Doctors are preparing to perform a bone marrow transplant, which could be a very hopeful step toward her recovery. We are praying that God, in His mercy, will heal her completely and guide her safely through. That God give her strength, peace, patience, and perseverance throughout. Also for strength, encouragement and guidance for Alejandro, his sister, and the family in their support.

Prayers for those in Need

 ​

- For those amongst us struggling with their jobs, looking for new jobs, and finding difficulty with finances that God swiftly provides.

- For our marriages, that God protect them from the evil one and that husband and wife can love each other just as Christ loves us.

- Pray for Acton Homeless Concern and Hilly Park Lunch Club, as they care for the poor.

- Pray for Fr. Paul Uwemedimo and his work with the poor, especially in Payatas, through the Puso Ng Ama Foundation (PNA).

- Pray for those damaged by abuse, especially those that we know. 

Prayers for Guidance & Provision

​

– For Elizabeth, and that her house sale stresses are eased by the Lord's providence and presence.

– For Carol, and her house situation in India—that the building redevelopment process goes smoothly, with good cooperation, easy approvals, and no issues with documentation.

– For Luca, regarding his business and court proceedings in Italy, that the Lord deliver truth, justice and strength for him and his colleagues through the process.

– For Teen's dad Teofilo Estero Jr: for his wellbeing, for guidance as he discerns which course to take regarding his health issues. Also for Teen and the entire family – for grace, providence, strength and courage in this season.

Prayers for Growth

​

​- Thank God for our "Is There More" meetings, ending this Sunday and for all 40+ people that came.  Continue to pray for all who have come, that God blesses and prospers them. Please pray for those connecting to us more frequently, that God provides for them, and that they see Him in us.

- For all our young families – for grace, joy and energy! Pray especially for those pregnant, for both grace and enduring health.

- For Daniele & Raja Baz, Deborah Everington, Stephen Bick and Karl Codouni as they explore being Leaders in Training.

 - For our wider Leadership Development Team, that God may continue to encourage them as they seek to learn and serve.

- Pray for our plans for the Autumn Term – Neil will send a separate letter on this!
 

Prayers for the Gospel Mission

- For our local churches and ministers, especially for Acton Baptist Church and St Mary's Acton, looking for new leaders, that God would bring his chosen to extend His kingdom in our areas. 

​

- For YPO and Koinonia – Let's pray for continued contact with eager students and young professionals over the Summer. That the Lord stay close to their hearts and continue calling. Please also pray for the Kairos Summer Conference “Verweilen” (29 July–1 Aug), including preparation, travel, and fundraising.

– For our Men's Christianity Explored course in Acton in July and August, for interest and our grace to work.

– For our neighbours, colleagues, friends and family, Lord, give us divine opportunities and the courage to speak!
