Please keep inviting guests!

Saturday 16th May – Lord's Days in Homes (Cancelled)

As most of you have now been made aware, unfortunately this event has been cancelled as a formal community event. However, some of you have opted to continue to host a Lord's Day dinner regardless, which is wonderful! Thank you all for your generosity.

Saturday & Sunday 23rd to 24th May – Women's Overnighter

A glorious time for the ladies to be together and listen to God. More details will be sent by the team closer to the date.

Sunday 24th May – Informal Prayer Meeting, 3:45pm at All Saints Hillingdon Church Hall
We have an opportunity to meet 7 or so couples who are friends of Vince, Karen, Emzo and Kasia.

This is not a formal community meeting, so you should not feel obliged to make it if it's too difficult (especially ladies returning from the Women's Overnighter).

We will use the "Is There More" format for the meeting.
We will try a format with babies and toddlers welcome in the middle of the prayer meeting.
There will be Filipino food!

Please do join us (if you do not mind a bit of noise in the middle!)

Saturday 30th May – Men's Afternoon, London Network Church: 12:30pm to 4:45pm

Dear brothers,

This is a further reminder of our men’s afternoon on Saturday 30th May, at London Network Church, 131 East Acton Lane. The formal part of the day starts at 12:30pm prompt, with lunch, finishing at 4:45pm, to allow those who would like to to watch the Champions League Final (Arsenal vs PSG) together, starting at 5pm, with an opportunity for further fellowship over a BBQ. More details on venue to follow.

The afternoon will use some of the insights from Fr James Mallon’s book “Divine Renovation” on parish renewal, with 2 input sessions given by Arthur and Andy “From maintenance to mission” and “The culture that creates Missionary Men”. The event is open to all Antioch men, and those connected via Koinonia and YPO, but please let us know if you want to invite guests for catering planning purposes. We are also requesting a small donation of £3 each to help defray the costs.

What you need to do – respond to Andre’s invite via Chuchsuite (if you’ve not already done so), volunteer to help on the day (let Andre know), invite guests who you think could benefit from being with us and turn up expecting God to speak to you.

André's email: andre@antioch.org.uk

God bless you all!

Arthur

- Pray for the brothers and sisters in the wider Middle East, in Lebanon, Haifa and in Kuwait, for peace and security.

 - Pray for the brothers and sisters displaced from and under persecution in Nicaragua, for mercy, provision and freedom for the gospel.

- Pray for our King and Government, that wise decisions are made for the common good. Thank God the Assisted Suicide Bill has failed, and pray that it does not come back in the next Parliament.

Prayers for Consolation and Healing

- For Ralph and Mary.

- For Maddy and Ian Bird. Praise God for Maddy’s ongoing headaches, for healing and the right medicine.

- For Arthur's mum, Claire, for her Parkinson's, which causes her to fall regularly, for wisdom for the family as they care for her well.

- For Jean Everington (John's mum) and for her care.

- For Mimi Turner, currently in hospital. Pray that the doctors can get her medication in the right balance, and that no operations will be necessary.

- For Sarah, wife of Milad, who is recovering from an infection in a neck disc. That the family are able to support her and one another with God's provision through recovery.

- For Stevie McGill, that God continues to heal him (it’s a miracle he is alive). He is now at home (another miracle) and is getting all functions back slowly. Pray for continued grace for Elaine and the family as they care for Stevie.

 - For miraculous energy for Ken Noecker and Des Dick in their continued service in Christ and for complete healing.

Prayers for those in Need

- For those amongst us struggling with their jobs, looking for new jobs, and finding difficulty with finances that God swiftly provides.

- Pray for Fr. Paul Uwemedimo and his work with the poor, especially in Payatas, through the Puso Ng Ama Foundation (PNA).

 - For our neighbours, colleagues, friends and family. Lord, give us divine opportunities and the courage to speak!

Antioch Football Tournament
From the organisers:

Thank you so much to everyone who helped make the football tournament happen!

A huge thank you to hosts, especially for being so open with last minute additions. And to everyone who helped in other ways - from giving lifts, to setting up, to preparing food, and much more.

And of course the constant encouragement on the sidelines as well. The weekend would not have been possible without everyone's generosity of spirit. We hope it was a blessed and joyful time for all of you.

And finally a massive thank you to Lloyd - who headed up the organising team and drove the effort over the past several months. It simply wouldn't have happened without him!

God bless,
Cathy & Eoin (and team)
